For serious medical emergencies, the nearest hospital is in Altdorf, about 30 minutes away by car. It’s highly recommended to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. Pharmacies in Andermatt can provide over-the-counter medications and basic health advice.<\/span><\/p>\n
