Each Musicians Abroad tour is guided by an outstanding team of educators who bring leadership, experience and enthusiasm to every step of the journey. These dedicated professionals support students through rehearsals, performances and travel abroad, ensuring each participant has a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
Amanda Reardon
Since 2008, Amanda Reardon has served as the Choir Director and Assistant Band Director for grades 6-12 at Margaretta Local Schools (OH) in Castalia. Prior to her employment there, she spent five years as the band director at South Central Local Schools (OH) in Greenwich. Amanda graduated from Bowling Green State University in both 2003 and 2009 with degrees in Music Education and Curriculum and Teaching. She continues to perform as both a trombonist and pianist and has served St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk since 2013 as a worship pianist. Amanda resides in Sandusky with her husband Adam and enjoys attending her son, Sean’s, band events at the University of Iowa and the many band, choir and dance performances of her daughter, Sara.
Adam Reardon

Mr. Reardon has been director of bands for the Margaretta Local School District (OH) since 2007 where he is responsible for all band activities in grades six through twelve; including all junior high concert bands, marching band, high school concert band, jazz bands, pep band and other small ensembles. His public school teaching career began in 2003 and included stops in the Mansfield City and Sandusky City school districts (OH). An active trombonist, he has performed with the Firelands Symphony Orchestra since 2002. Mr. Reardon holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Education degrees from Bowling Green State University.
