Blarney Castle, Woollen Mills, Cobh, Commodore Hotel, Concert

After a traditional breakfast, we’ll make our way to Blarney Castle and the Blarney Woollen Mills. Built nearly 600 years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, Blarney Castle has been attracting attention ever since. Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney making it a world landmark and one of Ireland’s greatest treasures. Blarney Woollen Mills is a legacy stitched into the very fabric of Ireland. Established in 1823 as a working woollen mill, it once echoed with the rhythm of spinning wheels and the soft rustle of woven dreams. Cobh is on an island in Cork city’s harbour. It’s known as the Titanic’s last port of call in 1912. Cobh became an embarkation point during Ireland’s mass emigrations. We will have dinner this evening at the Commodore Hotel. The Commodore Hotel is a historic waterfront hotel in the town of Cobh, overlooking Cork Harbour. Over its 170+ years, the Commodore has been closely tied to Cobh’s maritime history—overlooking the harbour and witnessing major events, including rescue efforts after the sinking of the Lusitania. Tonight you will perform your first concert in St. Colman's Cathedral. The cathedral is dedicated to St. Colman, a 6th-century Irish saint, and remains both an active place of worship and one of Ireland’s most iconic architectural landmarks.

Muckross House, Gardens, Jaunting Cars, Killarney

Enjoy a good breakfast before we begin the day's adventures. Muckross House is a 19th-century Victorian mansion located in Killarney National Park, near Killarney. Built in 1843 for the Herbert family, it is known for its elegant architecture and famously hosted Queen Victoria in 1861. Today, it is a popular heritage site showcasing historic interiors, traditional farms, and scenic gardens. Jaunting cars in Killarney are traditional horse-drawn carriages used to give scenic tours around Killarney National Park. Driven by local guides known as “jarveys,” they offer a relaxed and historic way to explore the area while hearing stories about its landscape and heritage. Enjoy some free time in Killarney.

Bunratty Castle, Galway, Concert

Pack up after breakfast as we make our way to Galway. Along the beautiful drive, we'll stop at Bunratty Castle. This formidable castle, built in the 15th century, is one of Ireland's major tourist attractions. Its most important residents were the O'Briens, Earls of Thomond, who lived here from around 1500 until the 1640s. The present interior looks much as it did under the so-called "Great Earl" who died in 1624. Abandoned in the 19th century, the castle was in ruin when Lord Gort bought it in the 1950s, but it has been beautifully restored to its original state. You'll dine in the Main Guard room, now used for medieval-style dinner banquets! And there's a chance you may have to sing for your supper! We arrive in Galway, a lively cultural city on Ireland’s west coast, known for its colorful streets and strong artistic heritage. Galway sits along the Atlantic Ocean and is famous for traditional Irish music, festivals and a vibrant pub scene. Galway also serves as a gateway to the scenic Connemara region and the Wild Atlantic Way. Tonight will be our second concert.

Cliffs of Moher, Sheepdog Farm, Poulnabrone Dolmen

A fun day begins with breakfast before heading out to the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher are a breathtaking natural wonder on Ireland’s west coast, stretching over 14 kilometers along the Atlantic Ocean. Rising up to 214 meters at their highest point, the cliffs offer dramatic views, crashing waves, and an awe-inspiring sense of scale. Popular with visitors for their rugged beauty and diverse birdlife, they’re a must-see destination that captures the wild spirit of Ireland. We then travel to Killary Sheepdog Farm. A traditional working mountain farm with approx. 200 ewes and lambs roaming freely in the mountain, you'll see spectacular scenery overlooking Killary Fjord on the Wild Atlantic Way. Poulnabrone Dolmen is a large prehistoric megalithic tomb. Situated on one of the region's most desolate and highest points, it comprises three standing portal stones supporting a heavy horizontal capstone and dates to the early Neolithic period, with estimates from 3800 and 3200 BC. A busy day will end with dinner near our hotel.
