These dedicated professionals support students through rehearsals, performances and travel abroad, ensuring each participant has a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
Casie Forbes

Casie R. Forbes is a veteran music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience across Louisiana and Georgia. She began her career in 2004 at St. John Catholic School in Plaquemine, LA, and has served as adjunct faculty at Southeastern Louisiana University as well as Assistant Band Director at Fontainebleau HS. From 2009 to 2024, she taught in Lafourche Parish, where she held roles as both Assistant Director and Band Director at the high school and middle school levels—consistently leading ensembles to Superior and Excellent ratings at LMEA district and state festivals, while also developing successful marching band programs. Now in her second year teaching Talented Music in St. Charles Parish, located just outside of New Orleans, Mrs. Forbes continues to nurture young musicians through individualized instruction and creative performance opportunities. In addition to her classroom work, she teaches virtual private lessons as a low brass instructor with Music & Arts in Georgia and also maintains a private studio of her own, helping students build strong fundamentals and achieve personal musical goals beyond the school setting. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Western Carolina University and a Master of Music in Tuba Performance from Louisiana State University. Mrs. Forbes is a proud member of Phi Beta Mu, the LMEA District VII Band Directors’ Association and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
Beth Dupuy

Beth Anne Dupuy is a dedicated music educator and choral director with over two decades of experience inspiring young musicians. She began her teaching career at Immanuel Christian School in Morgan City, LA where she taught general music and choir before returning to her alma mater at Morgan City HS as choral director. During her 17 years in Morgan City, she led the high school choir program and spent part of that time directing at Morgan City Junior HS. After relocating to St. Charles Parish, Ms. Dupuy continued to build thriving choral programs—teaching choir at R.K. Smith MS and assisting with the award-winning ensembles at Hahnville HS. She is now in her fifth year as Head Choir Director at Hahnville HS in Boutte, LA, where she continues to cultivate a love of music, excellence in performance and music literacy, and a sense of community among her students.
