Introducing Musicians Abroad

IMAGINE MEETING NEW FRIENDS FROM THROUGHOUT YOUR STATE, ALL WITH INCREDIBLE TALENTS AND, LIKE YOU, A LOVE OF MUSIC.

Imagine spending three days working diligently to hone your abilities while learning to perform with your peers. Imagine a 14-day adventure to eight countries, performing in state-of-the-art venues. Imagine the life-long friendships developed while experiencing European cuisine, different cultures and incredible sights. Stop imagining. Start planning today to join Musicians Abroad as we travel through Europe in June of 2023.

Musicians Abroad supports the dreams of both vocal and instrumental musicians in each state across the U.S. Local professors and secondary education music directors come together for a three-day workshop. During that time, ensembles receive top-notch instruction while getting to know the other members of the group. At the end of this intensive training, the students, faculty and staff depart on their European performance tour.

Each Musicians Abroad tour is customized by the state coordinator. Actual length of the tour, countries visited, venues and trip inclusions may be different by state. Services provided while on the tour will be consistent.

Rest assured that your trip will include amazing performance opportunities and plenty of time for sightseeing, shopping, soaking up local culture and unbelievable cuisine. Your experience may include:

> The Eye of London
> Changing of the Guards at Windsor Castle
> Tower Bridge
> The Louvre Museum
> Eiffel Tower
> Dachau Concentration Camp
> Walking Tours
> Doge’s Palace

Pack accordingly so that your bag has room for plenty of souvenirs. A trip like this doesn’t come around often and you’ll want to preserve all the memories you create during your time as an international performer.
